This End User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Mahala Business Advisors ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the Mahala Business Advisors client portal and associated services available at mahalaadvisors.com.
By accessing or using our client portal, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the portal.
1. Access and Account
Access to the client portal is granted exclusively to active clients of Mahala Business Advisors. Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@mahalaadvisors.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the client portal solely to:
- View your financial dashboard and reports provided by Mahala Business Advisors
- Upload financial documents and receipts as requested
- Communicate with your bookkeeper through the messaging system
- Access reports, invoices, and other materials shared with you
You may not use the portal for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious content, or to attempt to access data belonging to other clients.
3. Your Data
You retain ownership of all financial data and documents you upload to the portal. By uploading content, you grant Mahala Business Advisors a limited license to use that content solely for the purpose of providing bookkeeping and advisory services to you. We will not share your financial data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy & Terms.
4. Our Content
All reports, analyses, narratives, and financial summaries prepared by Mahala Business Advisors and made available through the portal are the intellectual property of Mahala Business Advisors. You may use these materials for your own business purposes but may not resell, redistribute, or reproduce them without written permission.
5. Third-Party Integrations
The portal may connect to third-party services including QuickBooks Online. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the terms of service of those third-party providers. Mahala Business Advisors is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The client portal is provided "as is." While we work hard to keep it accurate and available, we make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy of automatically generated insights, or uninterrupted access. Financial data displayed in the portal is based on information provided to us and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional accounting advice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mahala Business Advisors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal, including loss of data or business interruption.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your portal access at any time if your client relationship with Mahala Business Advisors ends or if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, your right to access the portal ceases immediately. You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of termination.
9. Changes to This Agreement
We reserve the right to update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the portal after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
