Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database platform. Client portal files and documents are stored using encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
Access to your financial data in the client portal is protected by email and password authentication. Only you and authorized Mahala Business Advisors staff can access your account data.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — we use trusted third-party tools to operate our business, including Supabase (database), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), and QuickBooks Online (accounting software). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
QuickBooks Online Integration
Our client portal may connect to QuickBooks Online to display invoice and billing information. This connection is authorized by you and only accesses data necessary to display your outstanding invoices. We do not store your QuickBooks credentials and access is governed by Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authentication standard.

SMS message purpose: By opting in, you agree to receive appointment reminders and customer service text messages from us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and SMS opt-in/consent status are used solely to provide you with the messaging program described above. Text messages are sent using Grasshopper, a business phone service, which may process your phone number solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and any messages you send to us — contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
